Auditor's warrants, special fund receipts and disbursements, 1828-1928.

Warrants issued by the auditor to the treasurer to authorize him to receive or disburse money into or from the treasury. The following special funds are included: Board of Public Works (Internal Improvement Fund), 1828-1871; Interest on Public Debt, 1866-1925; James River Company, 1823-1840; Literary Fund, 1822-1927; Miller Manual Labor School Fund, 1875-1923; North Western Turnpike Road, 1831-1850; Retired Teachers' Fund, 1908-1923; Sinking Fund, 1835-1923; and Special Funds, 1923-1928, which includes the Miller Manual Labor School Fund, the Retired Teachers' Fund, and the Sinking Fund.
